New Beginnings Chiropractic exists for one reason: to help Wichita families experience what real health feels like.
That means going beyond pain relief. It means looking at the nervous system — the master control center of every function in your body — and making sure it's working without interference. When your nervous system is clear, your body does what it was designed to do: heal, adapt, and grow.
That philosophy guides everything we do — from the way we assess your health to the way we care for a two-day-old baby.
Most chiropractic offices see a wide range of patients and treat a wide range of complaints. We chose a different path.
New Beginnings is a family-focused, specialty practice. We built our entire approach around the people who need it most — pregnant moms, newborns, children, and families navigating health challenges that don't always have easy answers.
ICPA Certification — Dr. Ashley Thompson is the only ICPA-certified (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) chiropractor in Wichita. This isn't a weekend seminar — it's the gold standard in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic training.
CACCP Credential — Dr. Ashley completed over 200 additional hours of advanced training specifically in pediatric chiropractic care through the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics.
Webster Certification — Both doctors are certified in the Webster Technique, a pregnancy-specific adjustment that supports pelvic balance, comfort, and optimal positioning for birth.
Nervous System Focus — We don't chase symptoms. We assess and correct nervous system interference so your body can do the healing on its own.
These aren't just credentials on a wall. They're the reason families drive from across the Wichita metro — and beyond — to bring their kids and pregnancies here.
Dr. Ashley Thompson opened New Beginnings Chiropractic in 2006 after graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College. What started as a small family practice quickly grew as word spread among Wichita moms.
Nineteen years later, New Beginnings has served over 7,000 families. We've been there for first pregnancies, colicky newborns, kids with chronic ear infections, teenagers who can't focus, and parents who just want to feel like themselves again.
Dr. Hanna joined the team to meet growing demand, bringing her own passion for gentle care — and her firsthand experience as a new mother. Together, they've built something Wichita didn't have before: a chiropractic office where families come first, every single visit.
This community trusted us with their most precious people. We don't take that lightly.

What is ICPA certification?
The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) provides the most recognized advanced training in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic. Dr. Ashley is the only chiropractor in Wichita who holds this certification.
What does New Beginnings specialize in?
We specialize in prenatal, pediatric, and family chiropractic care. We also offer acupuncture services. Our entire practice is built around families — from pregnancy through every stage of childhood and into adulthood.
How long have you been serving Wichita?
Since 2006 — nineteen years and over 7,000 families.
How is New Beginnings different from a traditional chiropractor?
Traditional chiropractic typically focuses on adults with pain complaints. We focus on the nervous system across all ages — especially populations that require specialized training, like pregnant women and children. Our advanced certifications (ICPA, CACCP, Webster) reflect that specialization.
